The Council on Aging is an ally in aging, a trusted neighbor ready to provide answers, resources, and social connection opportunities to adults over the age of 60, their loved ones, and caregivers across Jefferson, Crook, Deschutes, and North Klamath Counties. In 2021, our organization and its 400+ volunteers delivered almost 100,000 Meals on Wheels, served 55,000 senior lunches, answered more than 20,000 calls with information and referrals, provided 750 hours of Medicare counseling, funded close to 11,000 hours of home and personal care services, and provided 1,350 hours of paid respite support for caregivers. As the 60+ population in Oregon increases, our services are even more critical to ensure that our seniors remain safe, fed, and connected.
