Founded in part by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and a diverse group of local stakeholders, Deschutes River Conservancy (DRC) has brought people together for more than 25 years to create consensus-based solutions to complex water issues. Through our longstanding partnerships and innovative programs, DRC has restored 350 cubic feet per second to our rivers and streams, improving fish and wildlife habitat. That’s the equivalent of 14 Olympic-sized swimming pools per hour pouring back into the Deschutes Basin.
We are excited to announce the second year of our popular Raise the Deschutes seminar series, which educates the community so that everyone can have a voice in how our water is managed. Check our website for upcoming events and to watch previous talks.
As we face continued drought and population growth in Central Oregon, tackling these issues is even more urgent. A gift to DRC is a gift to the river and all who depend on it, now and for generations to come!
