Heart of Oregon Corps

We’ve all had at least one opportunity that changed our lives. Do you remember yours? Heart of Oregon Corps provides those significant, life-altering opportunities to local young people who need and deserve them. Heart of Oregon Corps provides vocational training and continuing education for local “opportunity youth”, ages 16-24. Through the WORK, EARN, LEARN model of its 6 programs, Heart of Oregon strives to create pathways out of poverty for youth and encourage their self-sufficiency. Young adults learn job skills on hands-on community projects that benefit us all, like building affordable housing, reducing wildfire fuels, or improving trails on public lands. The wages and stipends youth earn stimulate regional economic growth. These opportunities are essential now more than ever, as the odds continue to stack up against our disconnected youth. You can make a difference with our local “opportunity youth” by donating this holiday season to Heart of Oregon Corps
